sweetest sound ever

Adam caught this video today, I've already watched it at least 5 times- go ahead and guess how happy it makes me!

Wow, it has been a while since I even thought about updating the blog. Grayson is 3 months old, and time has been flying by!

Rather than doing a lengthy post about everything that has happened in the past 4 months (I can't believe that is how long it has been since the last post) I will just give the highlights

- I survived pregnancy- there were moments when I didnt know if I would- and our beautiful son Grayson was born!
- Grayson had a bad bout of jaundice and had to be admitted into the NICU- after 2 days in a tanning bed we were able to bring him home
- We are getting the hang of parenthood and everything is getting better every day
- Adam learned how to change a diaper, and is wonderfully willing to help me out
- Grayson started smiling! and as soon as I got that first smile it seemed to make all the hard times worth it.
- Adam is in his last semester of school!
- Grayson is graciously letting me sleep for about 8 hours per night (there is still one feeding there)

I have been sitting at my computer for the past 10 minutes trying to think of what other highlights I could mention and I honestly think I have hit all the major points, Grayson is the most wonderful baby ever, Adam is doing great with his classes, and I finally figured out how to clean my house and be a mother at the same time... So all in all we are doing very well!

ps I wrote this post over a month ago and forgot to post it :) sorry folks!

I'm almost 36 weeks and lately I feel a lot like this.

I've started many blogs over the years, but I thought this new phase of life called for a blog all its own.

Quick background- Adam and I are living in lovely Colorado while he finishes his degree; just 5 months left! I'm pregnant with our first child, a boy, we've had some small complications but he is health, strong and quite the kicker!
